I have been getting cold sores a lot lately and it’s really starting to annoy me. As soon as one heals, another appears and they take forever to completely heal. I need to know what is causing these cold sores and what is the FASTEST way to cure a cold sore? What is the fastest way to get rid of a cold sore so it never comes back?
If you also have this problem, there here are some few tips that could help you out to treat your cold sore . There is no cure and the anti virals although reducing severity seem to make them hang around even longer, try large doses of vitamin C but if you are getting lots of attacks I think you have an underlying problem
Even though you are taking pills you should still put the cream on to make sure it goes and keep putting on when it has gone as well so that it doesn’t come back. Don’t worry about cold sores; I get them all of the time. I’ve had them since I was a baby and I’ve just used Zovirax or cold sore cream that I get from doctors they both work and are quite good.
Another fast ways to get rid of cold sore is this: you can also take an amino acid called L-lysine. It should be in your body naturally anyway and some people take it as a supplement, so even if you don’t have a cold sore, taking L-lysine is not a problem. It can help heal cold sores very quickly – best taken when you get the first signs of cold sore. You can buy it as tablets in Holland & Barrett.
It’s less effective after a cold sore has fully developed. I have a pack. On the back it says “Lysine is one of the essential amino acids, the building blocks for protein, which is needed for normal development and growth in the body. Each tablet contains L-Lysine. 500mg”. Go to the drugstore & buy a product called Lysine. It is in the health /vitamin supplement area. This will help with the healing & help prevent new ones. When you feel one coming-take a mega dose 6-8 tablets.
