So I woke the other night with dry lips and they hurt really bad, so around my lips there’s a lot of tiny circles came out and they hurt and itch a lot this happened like every winter urghh :-/ i hate it .. so can anyone tell me how to avoid this and get rid of it fast. Thanks in advance

cold sores. everyone hates them, especially me. for two years ive been teased for my “monster mouth” and for two years ive been trying to find the best treatment my dry lips and cold sores. ive tried abreva, its great, but only works sometimes, is expensive, and it takes a long time to work. i also take vitamins (b), but they too take a long time to fix my cold sores. i also use chapstick/lip balm and have it with me at all times. so what i need is something that works good and doesnt take very long to help. (if there actually is such a miracle medicine!) thanks for your answers.

I am about to go to college as a freshman in a week, and I woke up this morning, look in the mirror and….NOO! Its a big ol cold sore. I havent had one of these in over a year, and right before college I get one.
I would really appreciate any advice on how to get rid of this thing, whether it be from personal experience or links.

so i had the tiniest little beginning of a cold sore so i decided to use some rub on cold sore treatment i found at cvs so it wouldn’t get worse for the first day of school. and i used it, and now where i rubbed that stuff on it BURNS and is red and is oozing! it’s this huge visible spot where i used the coldsore treatment, i followed all the instructions and now i can barely sleep it’s all crusty and sore when b4 it was this little dot that didn’t even hurt! i did this just an hour ago… the pain! help what do i do?! is it supposed to do this? OWWWWW i hate whoever designed this!
