Know any 1-day Cold Sore Cures?

Yesterday, I felt a cold sore begin to bud in my lower lip– and, of course, right away, I began lavishing on pounds of aloe vera gel every thirty minutes, which usually makes the bud go away that night. But I woke up this morning, and the bud has gotten even more sensitive and swollen– I do not want this baby to pop– My boyfriend is coming home tomorrow, and only stays for a week before he leaves for six months. So this morning, I found my lysine, and I began switching off the lysine cream with the aloe vera for the past 3 hours, and there’s been no change. I need fast remedies now! D:

Alternative Cold Sore Cures?

I got this cold sore, last week i believe, its in the middle of my upper lip. I do believe I started this one because i felt this little bubble of something on the inside of my mouth on my upper lip…and i popped it.

I’ve been using Abreva, and i picked at it a few times. (I’m sure its just making it worse).

Right now its numb, hurting more than usual, and the Abreva doesnt seem to work…
Anyone know of some household things i could use to ease the sharp sting and maybe just get rid of the thing??
